このアルバムはSKINNY PUPPYの中でも最も難解なイメージがあります
今までの作品に比べピアノやオルガン、シンセ・ストリングスなどを全面に使い、
一つ一つの音の重さが増して、広大で重厚かつ幻想的な世界が広がってます。
亀裂の入った、壊れる寸前の世界のように感じます。
アルバムが進むにつれその世界が崩壊していくように、バラバラに切り刻まれた曲が続き、
最後には不思議なシンセ音が支配する静寂で幕を閉じます。

もしくは世界が壊れていくのではなく、下手な表現かも知れませんが
「冥界に誘(いざな)われていく」ような流れだと思いました。

でも終焉のイメージに包まれたその世界観が例えようも無く綺麗に感じて、
吸い込まれるように聴き入っています。

　「なんじゃこりゃ~！？よくわからん！」というのが第一印象、すぐに連れに貸してしまった（笑）！で、その連れが「聞き込んでみたら良かった。」と。…で、聞き込んでみると、「すごく暗いな~　→　…不気味な音ばっかやな~　→　………ああ怖い！」と思ったが最後、ホラー映画を観てゾクゾクするような感覚にやられてしまった。今ではこの不気味な醜さの中に一縷の美しさを見い出してしまう始末（笑）！

ｐｕｐｐｙのなかで、最もぶっ壊れた感じの８ｔｈ。前作［ＴＯＯ ＤＡＲＫ　ＰＡＲＫ］なんかよりサウンドはすごい豪華、というより、怖い（笑）。しかし、これもｐｕｐｐｙ、というかインダストリアの傑作。でもｏｇｒｅの声、完全に死神だよ（笑）。
