新人警官といっても、チンピラに扮した潜入捜査官役です。ニコラスの活きのいいアクションと銃さばき。悪振りながらも澄んだきれいな瞳で凝視されれば、うっとりです。スティーブンはフェロモンたっぷりに演っているし、サムの２枚目半ぶりもいい味です。「美少年の恋」のダニエルウーのギャング団のボスにもその演技力で引かれること受け合い。仲村トオルの悪の黒幕も、香港映画に新しい空気を吹き込んで新鮮です。絶対お気に入りの誰かがみつかると思います。

主演の警察学校落ちこぼれ(？)３人組の声を、緑川光さん、置鮎龍太郎さん、林(=神奈)延年さんが吹き替えていて、リリース当時の青二の若手演技派総出演といった感じです。
私は声優さん目当てで購入しましたが、気が付くと「持つべき者は元ミス香港の母」なニコラス・ツェーの美形っぷりとアクションに釘付け。本編と同じくらいの長さのメイキング映像にリモコンを握りしめて見入っておりました。
仲村トオルさんの英語を始め突っ込みドコロ満載のDVDではありますが、アクションを楽しみたい方、ニコラス・ツェーまたは緑川さんのファンの方は、買って損はしない、と思います。
