sighの5thアルバム。ポップ&プログレッシブ&デスボイスといった感じです。今までのアルバムより曲、音質共にとても良くなっています。好き嫌いは、はっきりと分かれるでしょうが、クオリティは非常に高く、聴き所は未来氏のキーボードでしょうか。日本にはこの様に高い音楽センスを持ち、海外を視野に入れた日本人バンドをあまり評価せず、マニアックな海外バンドの国内盤ばかり出す傾向にあるので残念です。因みに次回作は国内盤未発となりました。

日本が誇るプログレ・メロディック・デス/ブラックバンドサイの5th。
傑作だった前作に引き続き、今作も内容は充実。まず録音クオリティが上がった。
ギターリフにしろ曲展開にしろ、相変わらず非常に聴きやすく、とてもメロディアス。
前作よりもキーボードのアレンジに気を配っている印象。また、何本か重ねられたギターリフは非常に緻密。
お約束の唐突なキーボード、ピアノパートも健在。場面展開の極端さによりプログレ度を増す手法だ。
もはやデスでもブラックでもないが、彼らの音の個性は確実に強まり、存在している。

4.0 out of 5 stars Sigh's studio 5th full length album, 2009/7/23
世界的に有名な日本のメタルバンド、SIGHのスタジオフルレングスとしては5枚目、北アメリカのレーベルCentury Mediaと日本人としては初の契約、ここに来てようやく日本版が出た。今までもSIGHの音楽はメタル以外の要素を取り入れていたが、今回はさメタル以外のジャンるを大きく取り入れそれでいて、明るい雰囲気の中にも暗さを、それでいてあくまでもメタルに仕上げた。以前Brutal Truthが混合音楽集団とか言われていたが、Brutal TruthはあくまでのグラインドコアでありSighの方が遥かに混合音楽集団と言えるだろう。日本版は1曲ボーラストラックが入っているが既に廃盤なうえ、最近発売された海外再販盤は日本版よりさらに1曲多い。ボーナストラックなしで既に1時間以上の長さがありので若干長めに感じてしまう。楽曲の質、演奏力は相変わらず高い。もはやボーカル以外ではブラックメタルらしさは殆ど感じることが出来ないが、Sighほどオリジナル溢れるメタルバンドはいないので今回も買いです。
