「あなたはどんな人ですか?」と唐突にたずねられてもあたふたしない。「私は、こういう人です」。そういう形を持っている人はやっぱり魅力的だ。でも、そんなくっきり立派な私らしさを誇らなくても、堂々と胸を張っていなくても、「ああ、いいな」と思わせる人は確かにいる。
paris matchが放出する「私は、こういう人です」という静かな熱は、控えめだけれど一度触れたら忘れがたい。本当に素晴らしい作品だ。2000年4月にデビューしたトリオで、本作は2作目となる。男二人に女一人。ありがちな構成と思いきや、この音の存在感たるやちょっとした驚きである。ジャズやボサ・ノヴァのエッセンスをふりまきながら、晴れやかなホーンとミズノマリの歌声が吹き抜けていく。三人の奏でる極上のポップ・ソングスは、夏のはじめのワクワクと夏の終わりのキュンが一緒くたにパッケージされて僕の感情をそっとかき乱してくれる。なぜかポール・オースターを読み返したくなった。 (平野敬三) --- 2001年08月号

勝つか負けるかわからない米国出張で、LAXに向かうANAで聴きました。
2時間おきにひたすらこの曲がかかるのを待つ。機内放送が遮らないこ
とを祈りながら。

Popで遊び心十分のベースラインに柔らかなギターのバッキング。
これにテーマとなるシンセのリフとピッコロような音色がバランス
よくかさなる。

そして何よりも透明で、ある意味で必要以上に感情を入れ込むことな
く、淡々とさりげなく歌い上げる女性Vocalはまさに大人のための歌。

久しぶりに、一瞬ですごい！と感じた曲でした。

決して力の入っていないメロディーラインは、仕事帰りで疲れたとき、何かに悩んでいるとき、余裕の無い自分に、ゆとりや余裕を与えてくれる・・・そんな曲たちがぎっしり詰まってます。
癒されるってこういうことなのかな？って思わせてくれる１枚。
とってもお勧めしますよ。

ANAの機内でツキノシズクを聞いてずっと探していました
さらりと聴ける心地よいヴォーカルとジャズっぽいサウンドで全くいやみがないのがいいですよね。
日曜日の朝って感じかなぁ・・・
