内容はコント的な作品から一発ギャグ、スピーディな展開をみせるコメディやシリアスなファンタジーなどバラエティに富む。ゲストも市川実日子や内山理名、山本圭やムツゴロウさん他、豪華な面々。
「スマップ」をタイトルに掲げているため一見ファン向けのように思われるかもしれないが、それぞれが趣向をこらした見応えのある作品となっており、これから映像制作を志す人たちにとっても実に刺激的なものばかり。舞台裏での出演者・監督インタビューでは彼らの真剣さが伝わってくる。また、各監督のCM等の作品も多数同時収録されていてお得な気分。（田中 元）
