ＴＶ版のオープニングで流れた本曲は作品のテーマや方向性、本質を見事にとらえ、また素晴らしい歌詞と穏やかな音色でＴＶ放映当時に「フルーツバスケット」を見ていた私は心底魅了されましたが、この曲が内包する本当の「意味」「価値」は、今、現在ではなく、原作が終了した瞬間のラストシーンでこそ発揮されるものだと信じています。ＴＶ版は一つのアニメーション作品としては個人的に素晴らしいデキだと感じていますが、本作品の持つ全ての「意味」があのエピソードで完結するものではありません。（現在でも原作が続いているので当たり前の事ですが）
十二支として生まれてきた人達とそれに関わる全ての人達への何らかの「結末」、そして「未来」があってこその曲だと思うからです。だからこそ原作のラストシーンを心待ちにしながら、そしてそれを読み終えた後にもう一度この曲を静かな気持ちで聴いてみたいと思います。
この素晴らしい曲を産み落として下さいました故・岡崎律子様のご冥福を心からお祈り致します。

今のソワソワした時代の中で、あんまり目立っていないけれど、
本当はとっても必要にされている歌だと思います。
癒しという言葉を使うと軽く思われるかもしれませんが
私は『フルーツバスケット』という漫画とこの曲に本当に救われました。人に優しくしたいって思えました。
伝えきれないくらい、律子さんの優しい歌声が大好きです。

今は亡き岡崎さんの代表曲。
この曲が主題歌になっている「フルーツバスケット」の内容と、
よくマッチしている所も聞き所ですが、
ゆったりしたメロディーと、癒しをくれる歌詞、
そして優しい歌声は、
もう駄目だと思ったとき、
苦しいと思ったとき、悲しくなったとき、
そういうときに、また歩み出せる元気の素となってくれるでしょう。
僕は辛くなったらこの曲を聴くようにしています。
どの歌詞の部分に癒されるかは人それぞれ。
でも、辛い時、苦しい時に欲しい言葉が、
きっと、この曲にはあるはずです。
