映像での「オン・ステージ」を見た人は、聞きながら華やかなステージを想像できるでしょう。注目は１枚目と４枚目。今まで聞けなかったもの。１枚目はライヴ活動を再開した６９年のもので、高揚する気持ちがあふれています。長い語りもいいです。４枚目は何と５６年を入れ、いっぺんに円熟味を増した７４と７５年へ。離婚の痛手を乗り越え、歌に込める情熱と理想はいよいよ高く、切々と訴えるものがあります。２枚目と３枚目は絶頂期の７０年と７２年から。あらゆるジャンルの歌を軽々と歌いこなす実力をつけ、すばらしい声。
ブックレットならではの写真もたくさん。高価だけどラス・ベガスに行くことを考えれば安いものかも。どうせもう、行けないのだから・・・

　90年代後半から毎年の恒例行事のようにリリースされてきているボックスものですが、その中でもっとも聴きやすいのがこのセットだと思います。何せ彼がもっともライブを多くこなしたラスベガス・ショーのアンソロジーですから、まず内容に統一感があって聴きやすいです。一枚目から三枚目の69年から72年までの音源に関してはもうお墨付きですので新たに付け加えることはありません。しかし四枚目がまた秀逸。まず最初に収録されている56年の演奏は、初期のライブ音源でこんなに音のいいのがあったのか？というくらい高音質。初期のライブ音源で乱発されているルイジアナ・ヘイライドものなんかよりも全然クリアーですよ。そして以降に収録されている74年から76年までの音源はこの時期のレアなレパートリーばかりを収録していて、エルヴィスのライブ後期のおいしいところが凝縮されています。特に「約束の地」や「俺を忘れろ！」の演奏はかっこいい！。後期のエルヴィスを敬遠している人にもおすすめします。あと、国内盤はMCも丁寧に訳されていて嬉しい心遣いです。

　他のどんなアーティストよりも多くのライブ盤を出しているエルヴィスですが、数多いライブの中でも69年から70年にかけてのライブは圧巻！ 観衆と一体になった素晴らしいライブの雰囲気が堪能できます。

　以前リリースされたテイク、未発表テイクなど取り混ぜての50曲ですが、新しく丁寧にリミックスされており、音も格段にグレードアップしています。特にDisk1の「What's I Say」は聴きモノです。
「Suspicious Minds」は3種類の時期のモノを聴き比べられます。
　Disk2の未発表曲「When The Snow Is On The Roses」（バラに降る雪）は、音は悪いが超貴重品です。
