オリジナル・アルバムにボーナス・トラックとして、シングルで発売されアルバム未収録だった「ワイルド・マン」を収録したもの。KINKS第二の全盛期だから元気な歌と演奏が聴けます！
国内盤は「デイヴ・デイヴィス」としてLPが出ていました。オリジナルタイトルはバー・コード番号だったので、こちらはアメリカ盤のタイトル。UK盤は『PL- 13603』でした。米国の彼のベスト盤２枚組みでは２、４、５、９曲目の４曲が収録されています。英国盤２枚組みベストでは４〜８とボーナス・トラックの１１曲めも含めて６曲も収録したほどですからDAVE自身もこのアルバムをかなり気に入っているのでしょう…
アルバムは一曲目のポップなへヴィ・メタで始まる。2曲目もミディアム・アップ・テンポのギターびんびんナンバー。3曲目は女性コーラスも加わって少し哀愁がこもったミディアム・スロー。4曲目はシングルになった曲で、なかなか軽快なテンポでARISTA時代にお馴染みのギターがたっぷり聴けます。5曲目はところどころ哀愁のこもったメロディーが印象的です。6曲目は少しTHE ROLLING STONES風の軽いテンポの曲。7曲目もキャッチーなアンプテンポのハードロック。8曲目はお得意のフォーク・ロック調でメロディアス。9曲目は少しカントリーぽい感じもするミディアム・テンポ。10曲目はメロディアスな曲とハイ・トーンの歌が魅力のこれもまたカントリーぽいミディアム・スロー。11曲目はこれもTHE ROLLING STONES風のアップ・テンポ。
