　言わずと知れたガンダムの正統な続編。作品についてはもう語ることもあまり必要ではないでしょう。好きな人は好きなんだからね。
　で、この巻の見所を数点。
シャアの7年後の姿。リック・ディアスの勇姿。ブライト艦長の不遇。
しかしなんといっても最大の見所はシリーズ、最強であろうニュータイプ、カミーユ・ビダンの登場と言ったところ。これほど強烈な主役はなかなかお目にかかれません。瞬間湯沸器ですぐ殴る。普通あんな理由で見ず知らずの、しかも軍人を殴るか!?　カミーユ・ビダンじやなくてカミーユ・ビンタに名前を変えたほうがよいと思ったファンは当時多数いたと思います(笑)。このディスクには彼の凄まじい行動力が多数見れるディスクです。たった2話の収録も手伝って、まさに衝撃のVolume.1です。

『Ｚガンダム』ほど、悲惨で残酷なアニメを私は観たことがない。地獄の中心で悲鳴を上げる、といった感じである。第１~２話では、カミーユやクワトロのほか、ジェリドも登場する。ジェリドの不幸はここから始まる。その不幸ぶりは筆舌に尽くしがたいので観ていただくしかない。

最近のガンダムシリーズの登場人物達は、髪の毛サラサラ、瞳はキラキラで顔立ちが整っている。ガンダムをはじめとするＭＳもカラフルで美しい。また、あまりダークな内容にするとバッシングに合うので物語も綺麗にまとまっていたりする。そういった最近のアニメと、この『Ｚガンダム』は一味も二味も違う。カミーユの行動を見ていればそれは一目瞭然だろう。第２話で、彼はＭｋ-IIに勝手に乗り込み、生身のジェリドに対してバルカンを撃つ。自分の名前を馬鹿にし、殴ったという理由だけでこのような行動をとったのだ。異常すぎる・・・。恐ろしすぎる・・・。今、このアニメをオンエアしたらＰＴＡから苦情が来る事は避けられないだろう。

しかし、ここまで描いているからこそ戦争という行為の愚かさ、虚しさを表現する事に成功しているのだと私は思う。いまだに劇場版が作られるほどの人気があり、ファンに愛されている作品なので、興味をもたれた方は是非是非観ていただきたい。でも、「１ｓｔ」を観ていないと話についていけないと思うので、とりあえず「１ｓｔ・３部作」を観たほうがいいだろう。

放送当時にリアルタイムで見てました。
あの頃は単にガンダムからガンダムMk-2、そして変形型のZガンダムの格好良さが好きでした。
今思うとクワトロは好きじゃないかも。シャアっぽくないというか。
カミーユの性格もあまりに攻撃的過ぎるのと、ファに対して冷たいなと思うところがあり
当時と今とでは見方が変わってしまったのか、主人公に対してよく思いませんね。
小さな事でそこまでするかという場面が多くて。
最終回は、当時は意味不明だったんですが、結構すごいラストです。
