デビューアルバム以来、彼の生み出す音には常に驚かされつづけていますが、やはり今回もすばらしい。こうやってレビューを書こうと思っても、もはや彼の音を正確に表現できる言葉が思い浮かびません。あえて言うなら、２１世紀のジャズ。しかし、そこには古典的ジャズの堅苦しさや古臭さはなく、実に自由で創造的であるあたりにテクノの真髄を感じます。時には雑音（あるいは嵐）のように打ち鳴らされるドラムが彼のスクエアプッシャー節とも言えるあのメロディーラインと合わさったときの、背筋がゾクゾクッとする感じは、世界中の誰にも真似できないでしょう。 世の安っぽいダンスミュージックに疑問を感じている方、ぜひ買ってみてください。必ずや衝撃を受けるはずです。

彼の場合、音があって曲を作るタイプではない。頭の中のカオスを音を使って表現しているタイプで多少イデオロギーを感じるが、意図的に実験しているわけではな気がする。というのは、ジャジーな曲もあるが、実験音楽的曲もある。問題は同一アルバム内でそれらが同居している点。別にベスト盤ではないが、これらが渾然一体となっているということは彼の思考の動向がそのままアルバム内に収まっていると考えていい。確かに、どのアルバムでもそういう一面がある。が、このアルバムはよりそれを強く感じることになる。ただそれだけではなく、全タイトして纒まりが少なからずあり、聞き通すことも出来る。
