   2001年発表の4枚目。彼らは前作の 『Pyramid』でトランシーな方向性を極めたが、今作ではダンス・ミュージック的要素が後退して、7人のメンバーによる器楽的構築に重点を置き、ジャム・バンド色が強く出ている。過度なミックスを施さず、スタジオ・ライヴでの生演奏を最大限に生かし、各楽器が絡み合う緊張感やダイナミックなグルーヴがダイレクトに刻まれている。

   圧巻は、ラストの「SEER」。ツイン・ドラムスの芳垣安洋と岡部洋一によるハイハット・ワークだけという実験的な曲で、こんな大胆な曲が成り立つのも、2人の超絶テクがあればこそだ。（小山 守）

Boredomsを始め、多くのバンドで活躍する山本精一(g)、Dub SquadやAslnのプロジェクトなどで知られる益子樹(dr)、渋さ知らズやギロチン兄弟の勝井祐二(violin)など、今考えられる最高のメンバーで構成されたバンド、ROVO。興味あるけど、迷ってる人は、この「SAI」から手に入れるがよいでしょう。徐々にこみ上げてくるサイケなトリップ感は一度はまれば病み付き！！
