以前、Ｒｏｂｉ は とても人気のあった Hawaiian Style Bandの Lead Vocal Singerだった。 このバンドはいまでもラジオなどで頻繁にリクエストがかかっているくらい地元の人達に支持されていた。Hawaiian Style Bandは RobiとBrian Keslerの才能の合作のバンドだった。彼女がソロになったことで、解散してしまったが、無理もないことだと思う。さて、ソロ歌手としてのRobiだが、やはり以前と比べると Brianの才能が入っていない分、精彩を欠いている感がある。全体的に同じようなスタイルに仕上がっている。解散を決意したのは、Artistとして個人的事情もあるかもしれないが、このアルバムをきいていると、ソロになってなくしたものも大きいように思う。

このＣＤには、コンテポラリーなスタイルのハワイアンが７曲と、アメリカンＰＯＰＳが６曲収められています。（私の勝手な解釈です）
ハワイアンのほうのロビはチャーミングでエキゾチックでカッコよくて、とても気に入っています。
あとの６曲は、一昔前のナッシュビルサウンズを思いおこさせるような英語のＰＯＰＳです。こちらのほうは曲の出来自体は悪くないと思うのですが、別段新しさも感じませんし、いまひとつ魅力を感じません。
これらが混在して１枚のＣＤに入っているということに、私は少し違和感さえ感じます。でも、アメリカであるハワイで聴けば、違和感はないのかもしれませんね。
ロビの別のアルバムで「オール・アイ・ウォント」がありますが、やはり同じような構成です。ロビのハワイアンは最高なのに私にはそれが、ちょっと残念です。
