KUWATA BAND唯一のアルバムですが、
洋楽のアルバムと聞き比べてもまったく違和感を感じない、そんなアルバムです。
全編英語詞で少し敬遠しがちですが、きいていて凄く気持ちよく耳に入っていくので結構おすすめです。
サザン・他のソロ作品にはない桑田佳祐の音楽を楽しめます。

　サザンｰオールスターズはアクが強く、故に好き嫌いも相当分かれるはず。そんな中、この桑田さんが別枠で活動したＫＵＷＡＴＡ　ＢＡＮＤの出来は凄くいい。サザンとはまた違ったテイストだ(男っぽい)。色々迷いつつ？挫折せずに今日まで来ている彼らの足跡は｢継続は力なり｣を地で行くものだと思う。

KUWATA BAND。その名前からわかるようにサザンの桑田さんが中心となって結成したバンド。
シングルでこそサザンをイメージさせる曲を出したものの
唯一のオリジナルアルバムとなったこの作品にそれらは収録されず。さらに全曲英詩。
桑田さんの日本語と英語のチャンポン歌詞が好きなので
すべて英語で歌われるとその良さが失われてしまう気がするのですが
曲自体は良くできていますね。すべて名曲とは言えませんが…。
『PARAVOID』なんかイントロからモロにツェッペリン。
その他にもハードロックやAOR、ビリージョエルなどの影響を感じさせるナンバーが並んでいます。
