前奏が流れ出すだけで涙が出ます。「あの名前はもう声に出せない」「あの瞳はもう二度と見れない」完全に押しつぶされそうなほど、聴いてて切なく苦しくなります。ハーモニカとか、口笛っぽい音とか、失恋のあとの喪失感にスースー冷たく吹き込んでくる風のようなものが、これでもか、これでもか、と迫ってくるのです。
１０年以上前の曲というのが信じられないです。今出しても、間違い無く大ヒットすると思います。サザンファン１４年ですが、サザン、ソロあわせて、一番好きです。桑田さん自身も一番気に入っている曲のひとつだそうですよ。

桑田さん＋小林武史さん、の、メロディもアレンジもきれいな曲です。ちょっと切なくなるような。こういう曲も、よい！
