LA出身の4人組ヘヴィ・ロック・バンドのニュー・アルバム。デビュー作『ウィスコンシン・デス・トリップ』から2年を経て、パワー・アップしたラウド&クリア・サウンドにひきつけられる。

アメリカはカリフォルニア出身の激烈4人組による約2年余ぶりのセカンド・アルバム。デビュー時には日本人ギタリストが在籍していることでも話題となったが、残念ながら現在は脱退。本作では、後任として元DOPEのトリップ・アイゼンが迎えられている。とはいえ、ザックザクのヘヴィ・ギターがインダストリアル・ビートとともに楽曲を引っ張るスタイルに大きな変化はなく、怒号ヴォイスとグルーヴィなイケイケ感も当然健在。SEから続く2曲目がかなりメタル色の強い仕上がりだったので「アレ?」と思ったら、アルバムの全体像としては、むしろテクノ/トランス要素が無理なく深く採り込まれていて、伸ばすべき方向をちゃんとわきまえていたことに感心した。まだまだホワイト・ゾンビのフォロワーっぽい部分も残しているものの、ありがちなトレンド・バンドで終わりたくない……という気概もちゃんと持ち合わせてるらしく、これからも進化するバンドだと納得。 (奥村裕司) --- 2001年07月号

メタルとヘヴィロックとデジタルを上手く組み合わせたバンド。フィアファクともまた違う感じでかっこいい。
アルバム全体では★3だが2曲目のGet To The Goneは★5に値するかっこよさ！
取りあえずきくべし。

アメリカのロサンゼルス出身のインダストリアル・へヴィロックバンドの二作目。

　彼ら自身が『悪のディスコ』と名乗るようにアルバム全体を通して重厚ギターにダンスのようなビート、機械音が入り、
それをエフェクトをかけたヴォーカルが叫び歌う感じのスタイル。インダストリアル・ロックとはいってもへヴィロックよりであり、かなり独特で特徴的なサウンドが良い感じ!!
　このアルバムは曲の展開はシンプルでストレートな曲が多いが、その捻りの無いストレートさが逆に聴きやすく、カッコよく感じるのは自分だけだろうか？
個人的には(2)(5)(7)が特にオススメ!!また国内盤ボーナストラックの(13)もカッコイイ!!!

　へヴィロックが好きな人でチェックしてない人はオススメです。

久しぶりにガツンとくる曲を聴きました。特にゲット・トゥ・ザ・ゴーンは良いです。 福田さんがいなくなってしまったのは残念ですけど。

でもこのバンドのボーカル、ボキャブラが少ないよう気がします・・・。GoneとかGoばっかりです。 でも曲は凄く良いです。

Ｍ２は文句なしのかっこよさ！・・・なのだが、後半ダレぎみ。それに、どうも曲が単調な感じ。あいかわらず、プログラミングは付け焼き刃程度・・・・。
