星馳出演作品の中で、最もシリアスとギャグのバランスの良い作品。
内容は割とちゃんとした刑事物。でもお約束の一見クダラナイギャグもきっちりと入っています。
星馳ファンはいつもどおり楽しく。星馳ファンでない人もちゃんと楽しく見ることのできる作品です。

　今ではスケジュール的にも共演が難しいこのビッグスターの若かりしころの共演作品。日本でならゴールデンタイムに放送されてそうなドラマかな？二人の若手刑事であり親友である活躍が、気持ちいい。
　なにより、最初ジャッキー・チュンとわからなかった。だって今とはぜんぜん雰囲気が違ってる。

　チャウ・シンチーファンもジャキー・チュンファンにも楽しませてくれる作品

日テレで放映していた某刑事ドラマのパクりではありません。
コメディですが、ラストの銃撃戦は意外とかっこいいです（特にシンチーが！）。
