このＣＤの特色として、元々のサントラ版と違い、実際の映画のシーケンスに
そって並べられている事。
とても興味深いけれども、これでいいのか？とも思えます。例えば、
１つのトラックに２~３曲が収められているので、１曲だけ聴こうとしても
簡単に頭だしできない事、
以前ＣＤ化された時にカットされた曲が収録されているが、実際の映画に用い

られなかった"Love Light"が無い事（ボーナストラックという形でも入れて
良かったのでは？）、
ミャウダーのオルゴールなど、全く同じ曲が２~３回出てくる事、
等々、素直に１曲ずつ聴きたかった自分にとって、この構成は聴き辛くされて
しまった感じです。
あとデジタルトリップも今聴くと流石に色褪せている。何か当時のテクノの流

行りに合わせてしまったように思える。
むしろオリジナルの方の唯一の「大宇宙への涯へ」の方が曲として落ち着いて
聴けました。

曲は改めて素晴らしいと感じました。普通に１曲ずつ収録されていれば星５つ
にします。
ただ、気軽に聴き辛くなっているのが残念でした。

当時発売されたレコード盤と比較して、映画に使用された曲そのものを収録した点では評価出来ると思います(レコード盤ではハーモニカは単なるハーモニカでは無く、オケが入っています。映画では純粋にハーモニカだけの使用でした)。ただ、映画の流れに沿った曲の配列を重視し過ぎた余り、レコード盤でバランスの取れていた曲順をぶつ切りにしたり、同じ曲が繰り返され、(ミャウダーのオルゴールが4回、旧盤で青春の幻影と呼ばれていた曲が2回、再会が2回)ドラマ編だから生きる曲順である事を無視した事が全体のバランスを崩し聴きづらくしております。さらに、主題歌SAYONARAがフルコーラスでは無い事も減点と言えば減点です。デジタルトリップは、作曲家である東海林氏が当初全曲シンセでと申し出ていた事から、オケで無ければこうなったという
参考資料になるかと思います。こちらは原盤通りです。音質は、当時がレコード全盛期であった事もあり、レコードの方が数段上です。大宇宙の涯へは、このディスクだと聴こえない音が幾つか有りますし、弦楽器はどう転んでも厚みの点で劣ります。

他の方も書かれておりますが、このＥＥシリーズのＦＩＬＥ１〜４
に収録されている劇場版２作品は以前発売されたレコードやＣＤと違って
実際に作中で使用された曲そのものを収録しておりますが
当時のレコードと劇中で使用されているＢＧＭは
同じ曲でも違う音源を使用しているようで微妙に音が違います。
同じＥＥでも同じ音源を使用しているＴＶ版のＦＩＬＥ５＆６では
ＥＥのほうが音がいいのですが、元になる音源の音質差のせいか
こちらはＡＮＩＭＥＸ１２００に負けています。
あと、劇場の使用順に並べたのもそうですが、ＣＤ２枚にまたがって収録されるのも
聴きづらくしているなあ･･･という印象が強いです。
