氷川きよしの大ファンといううちのおばあちゃんへ、傘寿のお祝いにプレゼントしたところ、大好評でした。
小さなフォトブックもついていて、きよし君の写真を見ながら「まぁ~~♪」と頬を染めているおばあちゃんの乙女心にちょっと微笑みました。
こんなに喜ばれると、送ったほうもうれしいですね。

デビュー５周年、充分若さ輝くきよしくんですが、
このアルバムにはまた違った若さが詰まっていて。
聞くたびに胸がきゅんとします。
伸び伸びと歌う声は今も、こぶしも今と変わりませんが
まだ少し「蒼い」感じもして、そこがたまらないファンも
いるのではないでしょうか？
付属の写真集も、画面から緊張がひしひし伝わってきて
頑張っているきよしくんがとてもとても伝わってくる
１枚です。

箱根八里の半次郎はもちろん、大井追っかけ音次郎など、きよしがヒットし、スターダムへとのし上がった曲が収録され、満足のいく内容である。最近の曲が分からない人でも、このデビュー曲と頭に残る振り付けは今も鮮明に残っている人は多いのではないだろうか。

このアルバムは、その「デビュー当時のきよしファン」にはもってこいの1枚だ。
また、このアルバムの初回特典には、30ページほどの写真集も同封されている。これはファンにとってはたまらず、音楽だけでなく視覚としても満足のいく1枚だ。

きよしをよく知っている人、知らない人、デビュー曲が今でも印象に残っている人にはこのアルバムをお薦めする。特に、初回と今の写真の写り方は若干違うと思うので、初々しいきよしが見たい人には必須である。


”僕は泣いちっち”でのきよしは、故郷を離れた自身の気持ちを投影しているようで、私も感銘を受けた。
