　リサイクルショップでCD漁りをしていると、ふとこのCDが目に止まった。元々ヘヴィメタルが好きなうえ、\200という値段だったのでほとんど冷やかし同然に買ってみたんですが……一曲目（正確に言えば2曲目ですが）を聞いた途端「当たりだ！」と思いました。
　当たりも当たり、大当たりです。珠玉揃いの良い曲ばっかり入ってて、\200で買ったのが申し訳なく思えてくるほどです。とにかく買う価値アリ！
　お気に入りは、タイトルナンバーでもある『Perfect Self』です。

　このstereomud、日本じゃあんまり有名じゃないね。
　けどアメリカ本土じゃすごい人気だぜ！
　最近じゃ待望の3rdも出しちゃうらしいし、メタルファンで知らない人はまずいないね。
　この「Perfect Self」はそんなStereomudのセカンドだ。
　個人的に大好きな「Steppin`Away」や「Pain」も収録した満足な出来栄え、殆どのトラックが Untitle なんて、Stereomud以外にはまず考えられんだろう。
　サウンド的にはDisturbedやMad at Gravityに近い感じ。
　一度聞く価値はあり。お勧め。　星は勿論五つだろ。
