そんなに大好きというほどでもなかったのだが、
ふとしたきっかけで聞いてみて、「鈴木あみ大好き」になってしまった１枚。
デビュー曲から前１４曲のシングルを発売順に収録しているが、
個人的には知らない曲も多かった。歌詞になんとなく脈略がない感じもした。
けれど、どことなく物悲しい歌声が耳から離れない。

「同じ雲を追いかけ　別の場所に立つ。どんなに時が経っても　あなたは色褪せない」(M-9「OUR DAYS」）
「帰り道はひとり　見上げた空、今あなたへ続くよ　追いかけたい」(M-13「Reality」）

切ないメロディーと歌詞、そしてはかなげながら懸命な歌声に、
ただの明るいだけのアイドルというイメージがまったく払拭されてしまった。

鈴木あみは、歌の中でいつも１人ぼっちだった気がする。

鈴木あみは今、どんな空を見上げているのだろうか。
その存在と歌声の復活を切に願います。

決して歌はうまくはないが、いとおしくなるボーカル。
そして、やはりＴＫ氏の素晴らしいメロディが光っています。

個人的には前半のポップスが好きですね。
特に最初の４曲は、本当に最良の楽曲ですね！
この４曲があったからこそ、トップアイドルの地位を得る事が出来た
ような、そんな気がします。

後半のＲ＆Ｂ寄りの楽曲は、彼女にはちょっとだけ早過ぎたかな？
という気がします・・・。

元気なイメージがあった彼女ですが、バラードも結構イイ感じです。
まだまだ歌声をたっぷり聞かせてほしかったのですが・・・。

いつかまた歌声を聞かせて欲しいですね！

　大人達の事情で引退させられそうなあみーゴの救済措置だが、デビュー曲『love the island』~TM NETWORKのカバー曲『BE TOGETHER』~TKとの最後の曲『Dancin’in Hip-Hop』まで発売順に収録された、ファンには嬉しい、初心者には有り難いベスト盤になっている。
　甲高くて金属的な声質は耳障り。歌は下手。でもTKが作ったポップでキャッチャーな数々の曲は、名曲ばかり。
　鈴木あみ初心者はまずはこれから。
