『ライヴ・イン・プレストン』に続くジョイ・ディヴィジョンの発掘ライヴ音源第2弾は、79年12月18日のパリでのライヴ10曲に、80年1月のオランダでのライヴ6曲を加えた編集盤。NINなどにも多大な影響を与えたジョイ・ディヴィジョンの重要性については説明するまでもないが、自殺という手段でバンドを終わらせたイアン・カーティスの持つダークでヘヴィな歌世界が訴える切実感は、今聴いても鳥肌が立つほどリアルだ。ポスト・パンク~英ニューウェイヴの扉をこじ開けたバンドの貴重なライヴ作。 (保科好宏) --- 2001年06月号
