楽曲、歌詞、全てが深いです。
舞台は人々のイメージの中の深い深い森。自分自身の観念や、考え方があまりに深く、外の開かれた境地になかなか到達できない、ことを詠った詞なのか、それとも、情景として果てしなく続く深い森が広がっているのか、捉え方は聞き手自身なのでしょうね。考えれば考えるほど「深み」にはまっていく楽曲。

長尾さんは、変わった曲調、不思議だけれど耳によく馴染む曲をつくられますよね。意外なところで転調したり、新曲を聴くたびに驚かされます。
作られた背景は存知あげないのですが、この曲は大好きです。
Do As InfinityのC/Wはいつも丁寧に作られているので、シングルは買って損はないでしょう。instrumentalでギターに聞き入るのもオススメです。

長尾　大はこの曲を大切にして誰にも提供しない程温めていたのでしょう、人が人と出会って人生が変わる程影響を受けることが有る様に、運命的な感銘を受けました。

The second ending theme from the animated tv series Inu Yasha, 深い森 (Deep Forest), is a rock-oriented ballad. It's neither too slow, nor too hard - it's just right, with a solid beat underneath romantic lyrics and light orchestration. Overall, a very nice song to listen to, or thanks to the instrumental version provided here, sing along to.

The bonus track, 翼の計画, is more in keeping with DAI's edgy rock tunes. The music is decent, but some of the vocals seem forced, and the metal-ish guitar solo in the middle seems misplaced. An instrumental version is also provided, and actually somewhat preferable.

With regards to packaging, this single contains the lyrics to both songs: 深い森 & 翼の計画, and a case-sized sticker of Sesshoumaru (Inu-Yasha's half-brother).
