2001年夏に発売されたシングルで，自分はJALの機内で今月の注目曲として聴きました。
青空と雲を眺めながら「上昇気流に飛び乗って行こうよ」という歌詞と
どこまでも心地よい浮遊感のあるメロディ，壮大だけどポップなアレンジの
この曲を聴いていると本当にこのまま忙しくて平凡な日常とさよならできそうでした。

クラムボンはこのシングル以前から「上質でおしゃれな」バンドとしては知っていたのですが
この曲でその普遍的なポップさみたいなものを改めて認識しました。
やはりプロデューサーの影響も大きいのかもしれませんが，万人受けするポップさという点では
本作や次のシングル「残暑」を含むアルバム「ドラマチック」が一番な気がします。

ともかく，本当に気持ちいい曲なので，ちょっと憂鬱な時に聴くと自分のささやかで
平凡な日々がそれなりに楽しくなります。
飛行機に乗るときは窓際の席でこの曲をエンドレスで流すのもオススメです。

クラムボンの中では１、２を争う良い曲。
ドラマチックで勢いのあるグルーブは誰が聴いても胸にグッとくる仕上がり。
疾走感のあるメロディーに『上昇気流に飛び込んで行こうよ』『どこへだって行けるよ』など、
希望あふれる言葉が乗せられ、最高に気持ちがいい。

クラムボン、この頃が旬だね。

声、メロディ、始まり方、終わり方全て気持ちいいです。
元気になれます。おしゃれな音です。さわやかです。
アルバムもおすすめです。
