突然、小さい頃に見た事を思い出し、どうしても見たくなりました。タイトルは覚えていたのですが確信はないまま。人に言うとファインディングニモと勘違いされ、魚じゃねぇよ！と言ってやりました。ベットが動くんだぁー。と色んな人に聞いたのですが皆知りませんでした。そして、内容は上手く伝えられずに探し続けて２年。やっと見つけて、記憶の通りベットが動き出した時には泣いてしまいました。小さい頃の記憶って結構大事です。

1989年に公開されたウィンザー・マッケイ原作のアニメーション。

ニモという名前の少年が、スランバーランド(Slumberland)という
夢の国の王様の招待を受け、その王様のあとを継ぐことになるが、
開けてはいけないと言われていた扉を開けてしまい…という物語。

いきなり主人公がベッドに乗って飛ぶシーンから物語が始まるため、
一番最初に見たときには、その展開についていけなかった。
ところが２度、３度とくりかえし見ているうちに、だんだんと
不思議な気分になってくる。
ベッドの上で何度目覚めても、主人公は夢の中にいる。
主人公が本当に目覚めるのは物語の最初と終わりの方だけで、
くりかえし見ていると、夢の世界と現実の世界が逆転してしまう
ような錯覚におそわれる。

ウィンザー・マッケイの絵の感じとは違うことが気になったが、
それを差し引いても楽しんで見ることの出来る作品だと思う。
この作品が簡単に入手できない状態なのを残念に思う。

ストーリーも最初から最後まで目が離せませんでした。登場するキャラクター全てがユニークで、海もすごくきれいに描かれてました。子供はもちろん大人が見ても楽しめる映画です！
