　シリーズ４作目だがラム道士や他の前作までの常連キャストは出ておらず一種の番外編としてみたほうがいいだろう。中島らもソックリのアンソニーチェンとウーマーの吉本新喜劇みたいなコテコテギャグの応酬が見所という気の抜けた作品だが、ジャンボキョンシーの不気味さと強さ、一作目のチンシュウタンの弟がけっこうアクションをこなしており、ヒロインはロレッタリーなどそれなりに香港映画好きには楽しめる作品になっている。特に本作のハイライトはウーマーが体を乗っ取られて一人でバカ芝居をするシーンはそのコテコテバカ幼稚さにおいて映画史上稀に見るクオリティで失笑失笑また失笑でしまいにはあまりにもﾊﾞｶﾊﾞｶしすぎて笑えてくるだろう。後ノコギリを腹でギコギコされると何故かハイテンションでキモカワイく動くキョンシーはチョイ役ながら頭から離れない妙なインパクトがある。公開当時はキョンシーブームが終わっていてもう誰も見てない忘れられた作品だが、キョンシームービファンはまあ見ておいて損はないだろう。
