4.0 out of 5 stars 日本ヒップホップ史に残る「伝説の名盤」, 2006/4/12
　「サウンド＆レコーディング」の300号記念特集でも取り上げられていた、日本のヒップホップ史に残る１枚です。

　せいこう氏の小説「ノーライフ・キング」の世界を描いたようなライムが、アバンギャルドなトラックに乗っかります。ヒップホップのトラックが、リズムマシーンからブレイクビーツに変わる過渡期、ヤン冨田は、もっと先を見た、実験的な音を作っています。
　古い作品なのに楽しんで聴けるのは、過渡期ならではの興奮と、混乱と、更にヤン先生の「いっちゃってる」センスの所為なのだと思います。
　ヒップホップの歴史というのは、基本的に海外グループの模倣の歴史だったりするのですが、このアルバムの音と、ビブラストーンのマスラップは、日本オリジナルなんじゃなかろうかと思います。

　いとうせいこうは小説家として有名ですが、個人的にはラッパーや役者など、パフォーマーとしての彼の方が好きです。

オリジナルは、たしか限定5000枚で発売だったと記憶してます。
ラップ=のりのりミュージックなんて思われてた時代に哀愁嘆きが感じれる素晴らしい名盤です。
歌詞カードの後半にライミングバイブルなる素敵な特典がついてます。

Nasやブルーハーブを聴くのと同じ様に聴いてもらえるのではないかと思います。

ヤン富田、いとうせいこう、ダブマスターXが作った1989年のCDです。
