ちょっと狂気じみたマリリンのセンス炸裂！
類い希な才能。インディーズに埋もれさすのはもったいない。

個性的な女性ボーカル、パーム・ルージュ・マリリンを中心としたバンド、90年作。キュートでコケティッシュ、シュールで病的、ダリの絵画や不思議の国のアリスのようなイメージもある詩世界、幼く可愛らしい口調でその不気味さが更に加速。女性アイドル風のロックかと思えば、微妙にプログレ風味を入れたり、デジタルだったり、やりたい放題に詰め込んだような内容。演奏のチープさは否めず、マリリンのボーカルも歌唱力としては微妙なのだが、その舌足らずな歌唱がまるで安物のビニール人形の少女が突然歌い始めたかのような、何とも言えない妖しさと危うさ、狂気と背中合わせの無邪気さを醸し出して、作品の世界観にすごく似合ったチープさで良い。
「NEIGE-ANGELは青空宮殿に眠る」はノリの良いロックにピアノやシンセがアクセントを加え、歌も切なく聞きやすい。「ビニールローズ」は明るく可愛らしいが、独特の詩が裏を感じさせる。「BE MY BABY」はエレポップ？これまたシュールな詩。お人形になりたい…メルヘン、でもどこか官能的でアブナイ。「クレーター（食事のお礼）」は勇ましい曲調。大槻ケンヂさん作詞、何か悟りの境地にいるようでありながらも情けなくユーモラスな小人の王様と男の子の物語。「オレンジの令嬢」は悲痛な感情が溢れ出すバラード。無機質なサウンドが更に切なさを助長。「ウミガメモドキ（ニセウミガメに捧ぐ）」は混沌としたサウンド、サスペンス調なピアノがカッコイイ。語り中心。ニセウミガメやアナゴのじいさんが現れるシュールで奇怪な詩世界、曲はどんどんスピードを上げ語りもヒステリックになり狂気が渦巻き、世界が崩れだすような感覚に陥る…頭の中がぐちゃぐちゃに。
