自主製作のアルバムです。タイトル曲は、「今日もまただめだった気がする」というところに共鳴して聴いてきました。音楽がつねに前向きで集団行進してるみたいな、そんな体育会系のような音楽（あえてバンド名は書きませんがミリオンセラーなんだよないつも）の極北にあるアルバムです。タイトル曲や「中道商店街」は、やわらかな電子音の中で歌われていて、ライヴ音源で親しんできた身には意外でしたが、これもまた佳いです。もともとの詞がいいですからね、どんな形態でも聞かせるのです。ほかの曲も、いかにも友部という言葉の紡ぎが見られて、さすが和製ＤＹＬＡＮ。（遠藤みちろうは７０年代にＤＹＬＡＮよりもずっと友部に影響を受けたと言っておりましたが。）「釧網本線」という曲も入っていますが、これも佳曲。北海道のかたには、また特別なひびきのある曲名ではありませんか？それから「ぼくは君を探しに来たんだ」も入っていますが、数あるテイクの中でこれがベストだと思います。友部はほんとうに偉大ですよ。星５つであります！
