奇妙な言動により何だか掴み所のない灰野敬二であるが、ソロ1stとなる本作は、静と動の対比や、混沌といったセンシティブな部分がドロドロに滲み出た案外聞きやすい作品である。

というのも、音が異常に少ないというのはやはり聞きやすいし、意外に達者なギターフレーズは非常に優れているからだ。最後のノイズの壮絶さで語らなくとも、彼が優れたギタリストなのだということはわかってもらえると思う。特に、この異常な声が、凄まじい。灰野敬二は、黙っていても歌を歌っている感覚がある……その静を歌う感覚にこそ、彼の本領があるのかもしれない。弱弱しくも力強く発される声は混沌と呼ぶにふさわしい。

たどり着いたのは黒くてやわらかい少し奇妙なお香のする空間でした。
灰野さんはこの作品で訴えています。魂の存在の理不尽さを。極める。
電気ギターの振動は魂の訴えとなり空の黒さと融合することで録音の不自由さから逃れようとしています。

5.0 out of 5 stars 聞くのに一回一回心の準備が必要なアルバム, 2009/5/15
暗くて湿っていて、ポップじゃない。しかし案外聞きやすく何回か聞いている内に癖になる。
何かをしながら聞けるような代物ではなく本当に心の準備が必要だと思いますが。
