ジャパニーズプログレッシヴロック最高峰ヴィエナの、その健在ぶりをアッピールする超絶技巧炸裂のアルバム・・・気合い入りまくりの、なかなかハードな内容です！！１９９８年リリースで、再結成アルバムになるのかな・・・。帯タタキを引用すると、「超絶のテクニック、コンビネーション。超越されたジャンル、イマジネーション。そして打ち砕かれたプログレッシヴロックの壁」・・・いやあ、なんだかわからないです（笑）。このアルバムの存在はドラムマガジン（菅沼孝三氏記事！！）で知ったのですが、インディーズ扱いでなかなか入手に苦労しました・・・菅沼氏のＨＰで入手しやすくなったので、ファンは本当ありがたいです！！（意外とリリースされていた事を、知らないファンも多いので??？）メンバーは、藤村幸宏（Ｇ・Ｖｏ）・永井敏巳（Ｂ）・塚本周成（Ｋｅｙ）のオリジナル３人と手数王：菅沼孝三（Ｄｒ）と言うトップクラスのミュージシャンで構成されています。正直彼らのような音楽はなかなかビジネスとしては厳しいですが、自分たちの音楽を表現するためにＣＤをきちんとリリースする事は、本当尊敬しますね！！テンション漲る卓越した演奏を堪能出来る素晴らしいアルバム・・・とにかく巧い（個人的に永井氏のベースは最高ですね）！！

日本のプログレバンド、ヴィエナのアルバム。1996作
80年代末に日本プログレ史に残る2枚の傑作を残して解散した彼らの久々の3rdとなる。
メンバーは茶々丸(藤村宏之)氏に、塚本周成、永井克己というオリジナルメンバーに加え
ドラムには菅沼孝三氏が参加している。サウンドの方は、かつてよりもやや硬質感が増し、
持ち味であったメロディアスなキャッチーさよりも、演奏には大人めいた余裕が感じられる。
切れ味のよいドラムに、センスのよいシンセワーク、そしてこれぞヴィエナというべき
茶々丸氏の歌声が加わって、テクニカルかつモダンなプログレサウンドを構築している。

９８年に再結成しリリースされたVIENNA『Unknown』
メンバー４人のテクニックに聞き惚れます！
Vo.&Gの藤村幸宏氏のボイスがまたたまりません。ギタープレイの素晴らしさにも圧倒されます。ベースももちろん、ドラム、キーボード奏者はあまりにも有名でこのバンドの凄味でもあります！言うことなし!!
詞・曲は大半が藤村氏によるもの。その浮遊感や言葉の選び方、最高です!!
