過去の作品群からよりすぐった楽曲で構成されるライブ演奏収録盤。
名曲「くつやのマルチン」「反射する道」のメロディー展開は、
つげ義春の漫画が良く似合います。
「月下の一群」の勇壮さには、
心が震えます。

「１の知らせ」「コンポステラ」も、手に入れて、聴いてみてください。
じゃがたらや「風の旅団」の劇伴として80年代を駆け抜け、

自身のソロキャリアを追求し始めた稀代のサックス吹き
篠田昌巳の音が記録されています。
惜しい人です。

技術的にうまい奏者はいくらでもいますが、この人たちの演奏はいつも
私のこころ、というか魂に響いてきます。（もちろん彼らも高い演奏力ですが）もう、生で聴けないのがほんとうに残念です。しかし、（１）はなんど聴いても気持ちがゆさぶられますし、（２）はこころがすりへってしまいそうなときに聴くと救われた気になります。まだ聴いたことがなく迷っている方、ぜひ聴いていただきたいアルバムです。

私はコンポステラの生の音は聞いたことがないが、ＣＤを通してでも篠田昌巳のサックスの音はすごいなあ、と痛感する。
内にこもったような、地味な音でいて静かな熱さを感じさせる実はジューシーな音を絶妙なビブラートが飾る。いや、飾るなどという表層的な言葉はふさわしくない気がする。とにかく、何ともいえないのだが、不思議な音だ。
