ムゼオ・ローゼンバッハ、セミラミスなどと並び称されるイタリアのヘヴィシンフォ。ムゼオと比べると地味ではあるが、それでもパッションに満ちた実にイタリアらしいプログレ。けっこう正統派ハードロックな激しいサウンドをツインキーボードが盛り立て、フルートが激しく舞い踊りながら絡み付き、哀愁に満ちた歌が乗る。
「告白」はキーボードをバックに穏やかに歌うパートと荒々しいギターとともに激しく歌うパートが交互に現れ、ドラマチックに打ちつけるピアノを契機に感動的な高まりを一度見せるのだが、再びもとに戻ると見せかけておいてハードに唸るギターにフルートが激しく螺旋を描いて絡みついたりピアノが踊りだしたり…息もつかせぬ展開に圧倒される。
「奇妙な王女」は壮大で気品あふれる出だし、大きな広がりを持ったバラード調から暴れ出し、再び落ち着いた後には何とも言えないやるせなさに包まれ、哀愁に満ちた男の背中を感じさせるような渋いギターが響く（クサくて良い！）…しかし、意外な結末が現れる。
「降雪」は分かりやすく交互に現れる動と静をやたら大げさに対比した曲。後半の暑苦しいほどの盛り上がりには「ベタだなあ…」と思いながらも否が応にも心が熱くなり、涙が込み上げてくる。
大作「友は死ぬ」は非常にプログレッシブで圧巻。陰鬱で寂しげな空気から始まり、中盤にかけて過剰なまでにドラマチックな盛り上がりを見せ、摩訶不思議な展開を経て、壮大なラストを迎える。気品のあるピアノと味のあるフルートが素晴らしい。
