　「たま」は歌詞・曲ともに，いつも良いが，このアルバムは特にカッ
コイイ。特に音づくりがいつにも増してシャープであるように思いまし
た。

　「ぼくの未来は火葬場の灰／大きな生ゴミ海の漂流物／君の未来もお
んなじさ／ぼくら仲良く死んでいくのさ」と歌い，ケンカさえも「楽し
い思い出」という１曲目の『安心』。

　「今になってあのときのあの人の気持ちがわかるから／あとになって
今のきみの気持ちをわかることにするよ」と，レゲエのリズムで歌われ
る５曲目の『学習』。
　遠藤賢司を思わせるシュールな世界を歌う７曲目の『子象の・・・』
　ノスタルジックな８曲目の『いわしのこもりうた』。

　どこか哲学的な味わいの歌詞を美しいメロディにのせて歌う９曲目の「さよならおひさま」。
　いずれも名曲揃いです。

　１，８，９曲目は，「たま」のメンバーも出演した芝居「室温~夜の音楽~」の劇中でも歌われました。

たまを濃いバンドだと思っている方には
とても聴き安い作品が揃っていると思います。
最近聴き始めたばかりの方、興味があるけれど何から聴いたらいいか
わからないと言う方、とりあえずこれを聴いて見ましょう。
全てがすんなりと貴方の体に入ってくるはずです。

濃いのがお好きな方は少し物足りないかもしれません。

稀代のバンド『たま』の、オリジナル・ラストアルバムです。
3人になり、サポートKeyを入れてから4作品目です。
このあとはマキシ「汽車には…」と、
「しょぼたま」など企画盤のみのリリースとなります。
今考えると、ここがバンドの、音楽的な袋小路だったのかも知れません。

さて、この作品、シンセの使い方が面白く、
売れなかったほうのニューウェイブ好きには非常にキモチイイのです。
つまりは、4人たま時代、
特に「ロシヤのパン」や「さよなら人類」などのイメージで聴くと、
かなり違った印象を受けることでしょう。
例の、音のスキマを生かしたチャカポコ生音がなんか性に合わなかったという人は、
このアルバムは結構楽譜の濃度は高いので、聴いてみると良いのではないかと思います。


ラストアルバムですら既に前世紀の作品なのですが、
『たま』は、いつまでも聞き続けるに値する音楽と確信しています。
しかし、いつまで再プレスされるかわからないので(滝本さんの決断次第…)、
とりあえず、気づいた時に購入しておきましょう。
