どうしてもグリーン・デイの話から入ってしまうのがこのオーストラリアのトリオには大いに不満だろうが、でも僕はあくまでもポジティヴな意味でグリーン・デイを引き合いに出したい。現在のアメリカン・バンドとしてのグリーン・デイのスケール感を持った歩みはもっともっと正面から評価されるべきだと思うが、それがよい方で強烈な刺激となっているのだろう。このセカンドでは、ストレートなメロコア・タイプの曲だけじゃなく“レゲエ+ダブ”もあれば、スラッシュ色の強いナンバーや、お得意のパンク・スタイルまで自由自在に疾走してみせてくれる。
東ティモールに行ったときの経験やアトランタで体験した人種問題といった社会性の強いテーマも、自分たちの手の届く範囲で解釈して訴えようというノリと音楽がうまく合っている。これでグリーン・デイにある“おバカ”っぽさを展開していけるようになると完璧なんだけど、でもいいアルバムだ。 (大鷹俊一) --- 2001年01月号

久々に純粋に熱い音楽を聴いたって感じですかね。 しかも何気に聞き覚えのある曲も結構あります。主にTBS系のガチンコ！とか。あと忘れたけど車のCMなんかにも使われてた気がします。おすすめ。
