パンクの嵐が吹き荒れる時代にエンケンが発表した渾身の傑作アルバム。＜東京ワッショイ＞、＜ほんとだよ＞などの名曲が目白押しですが、トドメはなんと言っても＜不滅の男＞でしょう！悔しいとき、疲れたとき、負けたとき、裏切られたとき、失敗したとき、そして、悲しいとき。この曲は最高の癒し（勇気）となります。現在もこの曲を歌い続けているエンケンを私は全面的に支持します！！

俺は、いまだに人生しんどくなるとエンケンをよく聴く。もちろん普通の状態でも聴くけど、エンケン聴いている時の自分て、多分子供みたいに素直なんだよ。特に「不滅の男」はマスト・アンセム。人生の応援歌とかメッセージとか、そういうもんじゃなくって、もっと深いところで、出会うエンケンっていう男の生き様以上の何かだ。俺にとって、三上寛や頭脳警察みたいに。
