布袋がバンドを解散し、自分自身の音を探求するために発信したコンセプトが「ギタリズム」である。それまで温めていたアイデアを手練れのミュージシャンと作り込んだ本作は、今もって布袋の最高傑作といえる。ジャケット写真で赤いスーツを身にまとい、髪を逆立てて空を見つめる布袋は本当にかっこよい！今では当たり前となったコンピュータとギターの融合が日本で初めてロックとして完成された記念すべき一枚。

全盛期のボウイを解散させ、ソロ活動を開始した布袋寅泰の１STアルバムです。ボウイでもなく、コンプレックスでもなく、はたまた、世界を探しても似た音のない、まさに布袋ワールドが展開されています。

正直、布袋自身によるボーカルはまだ上手くありませんが、それを補ってあまりある音の格好良さがあります。ＲＯＣＫファンであれば、一度は聞かれる事をお薦めします。

最初のソロアルバムは全て英語！！正直ちょっと驚いたが、楽曲は完成された布袋ならではのギターのリズムが耳に心地よい。「べたな日本人が英語の曲を歌うとこーなんだー！」という位発音がはっきりしているので、覚えてカラオケで歌うと結構ハマッて気持ちいい！回りからも「おおっ、すげーって」感じになりますよ！！！
