1stアルバム『春は遠き夢の果てに』に続き,春をキーワードにした,つじあやのの2ndアルバム。日だまりのぬくもりをその声に感じさせてくれる。心の安らぎを求めている人に。


内容 (「CDジャーナル・レビュー」より)

タイトルの『春蜜柑(はるみかん)』は、春に咲く蜜柑の花のことで、俳句の季語として使われる言葉なのだそうだ。
一般的な会話には出てこないこの言葉。実際つじあやの自身も、図書館の季語辞典や花ことば辞典から見つけた言葉ということだ。しかし、不思議と“春蜜柑”という言葉が持つ季節感、可憐さが違和感なく作品にぴったりとはまっている。
つじあやのというと、ウクレレのイメージが先行してしまうのだが、この作品ではむしろアコースティック・ギターの斉藤誠のサウンドが全体を包み込んでいる。それは物足りなさではなく、何かを予感させるもの。“君”と“僕”が多く登場してくる詞の世界は、二人称の親近感があり、ふんわりと春の陽だまりのようなヴォーカルが語りかけてくることで、実に心地よい。独身ヤング・サラリーマンまで、この詞世界の守備範囲だろうか。パパイヤ鈴木の振り付けでCM出演するというイメージ・チェンジがエポック。 (小林泰介) --- 2001年05月号

ジブリ作品の主題歌に起用ということで最近テレビで見るようになって、ちょっと聴いてみることにしました。
女性版スピッツという感じの、とても涼しげでかつ暖かみのある素敵な声です。うっとり。
三曲目の「君が好きです」は泣けます。なんか泣けます。
全編通して恋愛な雰囲気満載の一枚ですが

恋をしている方にもしていない方にも、皆さんにお勧めできますよ。

何年前だろう。

受験勉強をしながらラジオを聴いていたら、ある曲が流れてきた。
たしか、当時の某番組（翠の恐竜と、紅い毛むくじゃらのコンビが出てる）で使われていた曲で、画面にはいつもウクレレが浮いていた記憶があった。
それが、つじあやのさんの曲だと、その曲を歌っているのがつじあやのさんという人だと、
知ったのは、その瞬間。
このアルバムに入っている「こころは君のもとへ」という曲が偶然流れたからだった。

受験で弱った心にその歌は深く響いて。
次の日、この曲を探しに行ったことを覚えている。

癒されたかったんだと思う。
その声と、歌詞と、旋律に。

それから、いくつかつじあやのさんのシングル・アルバムを買ったりもしたのだけれど、
すり切れそうな程聴いたのは、このアルバムが初めてだった。
とても秀逸なアルバムだと思う。

天然物の「つじあやの」
ウクレレのやわらかい音色と、このふわふわの声に包まれてみて下さい
きっと自転車に乗って出掛けたくなると思います
