楽器のソロの美しい音色とか、バンド演奏もいいけど、
人間の声ってパワーをくれる、とほんとに実感できるアルバムです。
１１人のコーラス隊だそうですが、曲によるとゴスペルクワイヤー
を思わせるような。
ギターやピアノの弾き語りもしっかりあり、飽きません。
Disc 1ではJohnee JingoやHodja、Disc 2だとMighty LoveとかLove is the Answerが私はおすすめ。

日本では実現しなかったこのツアー、大変に評価が高かったので、ファンならずとも、このような形で公式発表された事を喜びたい。

とにかく、人間の声を贅沢にパワフルに駆使して2時間の長丁場を飽きさせることなく聴かせる。聴衆との一体感あるステージングもあいまってとにかく圧倒的に魅力的な実況録音盤だ。

トッドは時に高音部がキツくなるが、それも独特の歌いまわしでスリリングに切り抜けていく。そういった彼のヴォーカリストとしての技量も抜群。

日本でも最近やっと定着しつつある「オープン・ハーモニー」によるアカペラだが、ビーチボーイズ直系のアメリカにおいての、最良の才能による良質のサンプルとして、この作品をどうぞお試しあれ！
