日本のロック・シーンが変革の時を迎えるなか、確固たる地位を確立した男性4人組のバンド。前作『ベイビー・スターダスト』以降の新たな方向性を印象づけるマキシ・シングルだ。


内容 (「CDジャーナル・レビュー」より)

ミック・グリーンと共演CDを作るなど、国内外でそのビート感覚とダイナミズムに対する評価が高まっているTMGE。当然、この半年ぶりのオリジナル・シングルでも突き刺すようなビートは全開で、いつもながらの成熟したTMGE節が展開されているのは言うまでもない。でも、音がここまでいいだけに歌にはどうにも温度差を感じてしまう。歌詞も例によって現代詩的なムードがいっぱいの叙景詩なのだが、あまり活きた言葉に聴こえない。だから、個人的にはカップリングのインスト曲のほうがどちらかといえば好み。 (星野吉男) --- 2001年04月号

イントロのギターが鳴った瞬間、目の前の
景色が一気に変わるような感覚に襲われる。
鋭いギターに前のめりのドラム、体の芯まで
響いてくるベースに、熱いのに何処か冷めて聞こえる
チバユウスケのボーカルを聴いているうちに自分の
中の世界が剥き出しになって(暴かれて)いく。
ミッシェルの楽曲の中でも最もスリリングな一曲。

ロデオ・タンデム・ビート・スペクターに頭をかち割られた
ような衝撃を受けました。文句無くかっこいいです。
危なげなで理解不能の歌詞にも注目して聴いてください。
