   2000年12月31日、雨のなかで行われた、横浜八景島シーパラダイスでのカウントダウンライヴを完全収録した作品である。
   力強いドラムとともに歌いだし、ギターを弾きながら目を閉じて熱唱する、オフコース時代の名バラード<8>（79年）。キーボードの弾き語りによる、SMAPのカバー曲<13>。黒のロングコートで登場したゲストの鈴木雅之が、客席へと通じるスロープで足を滑らせて転んでしまう<22>。ちなみに、オープニングで小田自身も滑りかけた。また、ゲスト総動員で合唱する91年の大ヒット<23>、サックスのソロから始まるオフコース時代の<29>（80年）などが収録されている。
   ブルーのニット帽をかぶって、力の限りのステージパフォーマンスを披露する。誠実な歌詞と丁寧なハイトーンが、20世紀最後の横浜の夜を彩った。（速藤年正）

LIVEの内容は最高であったと思われる。一部キーを下げている曲もあるものの小田の声はわりと冴えており、オフコース時代を彷彿とさせる。
が、DVDの出来は最低である。まず画像の解像度が低く、ストロボ効果のような画づくりも見づらい。

盛り上がりかかった楽曲が尻切れトンボで終わることが多く、欲求不満がたまる。時間的制約からならば

2枚組にするとか、曲数を絞ってでも一曲一曲を大切にして欲しかった。

また、｢制作者の意向により｣チャプターがないのも理解に苦しむ

小田和正ファンとして、申し分のない１枚になるでしょう。最後に涙したのは
私だけでしょうか。星が一つ足りない理由は、DVDなのに映像が繊細でなかったからです。できれば、ハイビジョンカメラで撮影してほしかったな。それでも、幸せになれる１枚には違いありません。

小田さん初の年越しライブのＤＶＤ。 寒い雨の中の模様がおさめられてます。ゲストに山本潤子さんと鈴木雅之が登場します。 MY HOME TOWNでは、感動した小田さんの涙もちらり・・・充実の約２時間。
