まず、ＣＤジャケットがお洒落です。交換用の写真が５枚入っています。
どれも静寂の中にあたたかい陽射しが。。。作品全体が満足感を与えてくれます。
特に好きな曲は、５曲めの‘Pease　of　Ｍind’（NHKスペシャル‘故宮’より）と
８曲めの‘出逢った頃の君でいて’（同名ドラマのメインテーマ）

静かに静かに音楽が流れていくので、心落ち着くひとときが過ごせます(^-^)
Ｓ.Ｅ.Ｎ.Ｓ.を初めて聴かれる方にも、おすすめの一枚です。

　ヴァケーション・アルバム、というコンセプトのベスト・アルバム。タイトルに示されているように、平日の中に見つけたささやかな休日に、心を安らかにして聴きたくなるような柔らかな曲ばかりを11曲集めています。

　1曲を除き、すべて既発表曲であることと、「透明な時間」「透明な時間2」を発表した直後とあって、このアルバムを聴くことに疑問を感じる方もいらっしゃるかもしれません。けれども、鮮やか、と表現できるほど、印象に残るドラマティックな曲を多く発表するS.E.N.S. にあって、これだけ穏やかに、時の流れをそのままに受け止めたくなる曲を集めたアルバムは、とても新鮮で、すでに多くのアルバムを持っている方にも、S.E.N.S. の世界にこれから入っていこうという方にもお勧めできる作品です。

このＣＤは、ヒーリング・ミュージックの代表とも言えるS.E.N.S.による過去のアルバムの中から「平日の休日」というタイトルに相応しい曲をピックアップした言わば「癒し」をキーワードとしたベストアルバムだと言えましょう。
日常の仕事に忙殺されている方にとって福音となるような優しい音楽が満ちていました。
ＣＤに同封されている交換用の5枚の写真（月から金）がいいですね。こんな空間に身を置きたい、と思えるようなシーンを切りとってありました。

1曲目の「人と時と風の中へ」は、1993年に作曲されたオンワード「組曲」の CMソングです。CMの映像は忘れましたが、この曲はその後もいろいろなところで流れている有名なメロディです。一度聴いたら忘れられないほど印象的なフレーズを持っています。高原を爽やかな風がさっと、通り過ぎたような感じがする曲で、日常生活に疲れたとき、心の隙間に「癒し」の風を吹きこんでくれます。一服の清涼剤でしょうか。

8曲目の「出逢った頃の君でいて」がまたいいですね。勝木ゆかりさんのピアノが懐かしいメロディを奏でています。感傷的でもあり、回想的でもあり、抒情性豊かな音楽でした。Ｓ.Ｅ.Ｎ.Ｓの音楽構成力の素晴らしさを感じさせる曲です。とても満たされた気持ちになりました。

ゴールデン・ウィークの昼下がりにこれらの11曲を聴いていますと、自然の風や花の香りまで感じるような美しいメロディとハーモニーで部屋が満たされる思いです。
