私にとって忘れることの出来ない作品です。
大学生の時に見て惚れ込み、各地の劇場を2番館、3番館まで追いかけて
十数回見まくりました。その上、尾道まで旅行をしてしまったことは
言うまでもありません（ありがちなパターンですが、笑）。
この映画をリアルタイムに見た者として豆知識を一つ。

一美（中身は一夫）が母親と水着を買いに行った帰りに喫茶店に寄りますが、
その場面のBGM、私が知っているだけで3バージョンあります。
1. 劇場公開時：ユーミンの「守ってあげたい」
2. LD収録版：チェロか何かの弦楽曲
3. DVD収録版：良く聞こえないけれど、男性？の歌

自分としては「守ってあげたい」が一番しっくりとするのだけれど、
版権の問題でもあったのか、それともこの歌はあくまでも『ねらわれた学園』の
主題歌ということか、理由はわかりませんが残念です。監督の意向なのかな？

　小林聡美に尽きる。

　男の心が乗り移った女子高生の役という極めて難しい設定であるが　もう開き直って　嵌まりきった演技は見ていて　爽快の一言に尽きる。この役を引き受けることは　女優として極めてリスキーであったろう。どういう事情やいかなる気合でそれを受けたのか。小林聡美に一度聞いてみたいが　そのきっぷの良さたるやいかに。この役をやったことが　彼女の一生のキャリアの礎石になったと言っても過言ではないと思う。大林は　小林にこの役を済まないと思って　「廃市」でしっとりとした役を用意したと言っているが　どうしてやはりこれが彼女の　なんと言っても「出世作」である。

　今は三谷幸喜の奥様にもなってしまい　エッセイストとしても異能を見せる小林聡美という女優は　これからが楽しみな　恐るべきお方である。小生は　言うまでもないのだが　大ファンです。

寝付けない寝床の中でふとこの映画のことを思い出して、息が詰まるような胸の苦しみを感じることがあります。

もう二度と戻ってはこないあの頃。
青春時代なんてありふれた言葉で語らなくても語っても、誰にでも希望に満ちたときがあったはず。
死を知らず、性を知らず、世間を知らず。知らないが故の純粋さがあった。

年をとり、もうそんなこんなが決して戻ってこない喪失だと思い当たったとき、己の死を想起し愕然とするのです。

細かいこと言うと、表現や演技が空々しいところもあるのですが、音楽や脚本（原作も読みました）といった演出は素晴らしいと思います。

元に戻って、映画の最初に比べ二人がそれぞれ女らしく・男らしくなっている気がしました。忘れえぬ名作です。
