みゆきさんのアルバムは最高の出来栄えになっている物が多い中でのお勧めの1枚。
私が特にお勧めなのは「雪」「友情」。
雪は聴けば聴くほど泣きたくなってくる。
友情は・・・・とにかく詞の内容がいいから聴いて欲しい。若い時からみゆきさんは素晴らしいのが判ってもらえると思う。

特に、レコード時代のＡ面、1〜5曲目の流れがすばらしい。思いがかなわないのなら、逆のことを願おう、と歌う「あした天気になれ」には、思いが強いからこそ、それを表に出さずにおこうという詞とは正反対に、強い思いを強烈に表現する中島みゆきの魅力が発揮されている。

「あわせ鏡」に続く「ひとり上手」のイントロの流れは、何回聞いてもいい。

個々の曲も全体の構成も完成度が非常に高く、中島みゆきの魅力が思う存分味わえる一枚。

ちなみに、このアルバムのタイトルは、アルバムの制作に10ヶ月かかったことから付けられています。

「わかれうた」「生きていてもいいですか」「うらみます」澱んだ暗いみゆき様のイメージを払拭したのはこの名作です。プロデューサーは当時、「赤いスイトピー」で注目をあびていた松任谷正隆氏。さすが！ちがうなあ。プロデューサーの力を見せつけられた感じがします。
一押しは「夜曲」、歌詞とアレンジの絶妙感、深夜ラジオでこれを聞かせられたらハルシオンなみですよ。すばらしい。私は彼女の深夜ラジオでこの曲ばかりリクエストしてました。またヒット曲となった「あした天気になれ」「ひとり上手」など注目曲も忘れず、「あなたが海を見ているうちに」（池中玄太80キロで杉田かおる嬢がきいていましたね）「あわせ鏡」「雪」などいつものみゆき節も忘れていない、すばらしい一枚です。完成度が実に高いので☆5つ。次の「寒水魚」「予感」と彼女の第一次（勝手になづけましたが）黄金期を予感させます。
