再びトリオ編成となったＲＡＧＥの作品。
マイク・テラーナのパワフルなドラムが最高です。
曲もよく練られていて、本当に捨て曲がありません。

メタルですが、メロディもしっかりしているし、ノリもいいし、
スピードもあるし、どうしてこのバンドを今まで知らなかったのかしら、
と自責の念にかられました。

筆者的にはイントロの１に続く２が超お勧め。
マイクのドコドコドラムがとてもカッコいいです。

とにかく、何も考えずに買って損はありません。

このアルバムはRAGE（レイジ）がトリオになっての初アルバム。
ジャンルとしてはヘヴィメタルなのですが非常にききやすく
かっこいいです。いままでピーヴィーのワンマンバンドといわれ
ていましたが三人の能力は非常に高くサウンドもキャッチ-で
日本人好みな音です。
オススメは8番､12番､18番ですが捨て曲は一切ありません。

初めてメタルを聞く人にはかなりオススメです。
初めてのならばコレか、ソナタアークティカのエクリプティカ
をオススメです。

サウンドが従来と較べて洗練され、曲調がキャッチー且つ多様になっている。
したがって、一般受けはするだろうし、新加入のギタリストは一定の評価はされるだろう。

しかし、私はRAGEに対する興味が本作で薄くなった。
なぜなら、ギタリストのプレイにゲンナリさせられるからだ。
器用なのは分かるが曲調無視のテクニックひけらしは幼稚な自己陶酔を感じさせるし、底の浅さを露呈している。

そして、このギタリストの作曲能力についても天性の勘の良さは感じさせるが深みや味はない。
したがって、このような浅薄なアルバム内容に成り下っている。
どうも胡散臭い。

楽曲にも不満が残るが、ドラムの音が軽く、シンバル(ハイハット)のみ強調されたサウンドは致命的だ。
