今は亡きケルテス指揮による作品。

本作品どの曲も音程は絶妙であり
アンサンブルも完璧なほど美しかった。
特にハフナーの第一楽章、第四楽章には
心を打たれた。

25番の第一楽章は現在（平成16年11月）マクドナルド
のＣＭにも使われており、モーツァルト初心者の方にも
フリークの方にもお勧めの一作です。

モーツァルトの交響曲第25番、29番、そして35番の同録とは豪華にしてなかなか珍しいディスクだと思います。　　25番は映画“アマデウス”のオープニングで演奏され、世界中でブームになったあの曲です。　29番も小品ながら胸のすくような美しい旋律が魅力的な作品。　35番は言わずもがなの華やかな名曲。

ケルテス＋ウィーン・フィルの演奏は他の曲の場合でも、大体いつも速くもなければ遅くもない中庸を目指すスピードで演奏されるので、曲によってはあともうすこし爽快なスピード感があれば最高なんだがなあ(例えば25番の第一楽章、同じく29番の一楽章など)と、思うこともあるのですが、スピードに流されて、音が汚くなったり全体の調和が崩れてしまうということがないので安定感があり、どなたにも安心してお薦めできる演奏だと思います。　中庸を目指しつつも、決して無味乾燥な優等生的演奏に陥っていないところがミソだと思います。　独特のふくよかさと豊穣さがあります。　録音もクリアで値段も安い。　初心者の方には安心してお薦めできる一枚です。

若い生き生きした時代のモーツアルトが味わえる文句なし１番の演奏と思います。ウィーンフィルの明るめで軽快な極上の音色がケルテスの若々しく生き生きした指揮の組み合わせで本当にハツラツとした美の極致。モーツアルト自身の演奏はこうだったのでは、とくらいに思えます。もちろん他の曲も素晴らしいです。ちょっと極端ですが、これを基準にすると他の（モーツアルト交響曲の）演奏はどれもサラリーマン的演奏にすら思えます。唯一残念な点を挙げれば、高音質LP盤に比べると音が癖っぽさがあるし（特に高域）解像度がちょっと雑。LPの方はデッカのやや癖がある録音が演奏を引き立ててくれたと思うのですが、フラットで16bitの雑な解像度のCDだと裏目に出てしまいます。これを綺麗にきかせるオーディオシステムはかなり高域とかレベル高いと思います。変な話、スピーカーとかの高域意地悪テスト用CDでもあります（普通の人には極上の演奏CDと思いますが）。
