背筋が凍る演奏とはチョンの弾きっぷりのことを言うのだろう。１楽章のソロの出だしのところが、あまりにも美しく、あまりにも寂しげで、まさに氷を連想させる。それにしても、この演奏がこの値段で聴けるとはお買い得。コストパフォーマンスも素晴らしいです。

この盤を買うまえに実はチャイコフスキーとメンデルスゾーンのカップリング（デュトワ指揮）が同じLONDON(DECCA)から出ています。私は1985年頃にこの盤を買ってからというもの、チョンキョンファのバイオリンの透明感に感動しまくっています。

この盤のチャイコフスキーはレコードデビューの盤であることもあり、若さが全面に出ていますが、この盤に満足することなく、是非メンデルスゾーンとのカップリング盤も「あわせて」聴いてみて下さい。きっと彼女の魅力が何なのかを理解することができるに違いありません。

「これが本当にプロデビュー初のアルバムなのだろうか？」
一番最初に浮かんだ感想はこれでした。

なんと澄み切った音色なのだろう。

とても深い感動を覚えました。
このアルバムは今後もずっと語り継がれる名盤になるのだろう。
今でもそうなっているとは思いますが。
ぜひ、聴いてください。
きっとあなたも感激することになりますよ。
