初めて覚えた指揮者はカール・ミュンヒンガーだった。勿論、きっかけは有名な曲「カノン」。聴いたのは、昔、ミュンヒンガー来日記念とかで売り出されたレコード盤だった（購入したのは父）。心地よい重低音と、繰り返す旋律が懐かしい記憶を甦らせる、まさに心に至福を見出す瞬間だろう。

こちらのCD盤もとてもよいできで、収録曲も親しみあるものばかり。
バロックは初めて。。。という方でも、きっと美しい旋律の虜になることだろう。値段がリーズナブルすぎる価格。これはお得な一枚だと思う。

　LPレコードの時代から聞き続けている、サイコーの一枚。編曲が素晴らしくいい。冒頭のパッヘルベルのカノンの前奏の重低音が響いてくるとわくわくする。アルビノーニのアダージョもいい。

最近、バロック音楽は古楽器奏法で古楽器で演奏される機会が多い。また、今、手に入る録音のほとんどが、古楽器によるものである。これは、そんな中でも、現代楽器による、現代奏法の貴重なアルバム（になってしまった。）。バロック音楽を現代奏法で聴きたい方には是非お勧めである。また選曲がいい。どの曲も、心に染み入るメロディーを持った曲で、聴くと心が落ち着く。古楽器奏法を批判するわけではないが、古楽器奏法の過激な強弱の音楽に飽きてしまった方には、温故知新。新しい発見があるだろう。
