作曲家&サキソフォン奏者、清水靖晃の新作。スカイパーフェクTV!の名画チャンネル『シネフィル』のサウンドをCD化したもので、多国籍&無国籍な不思議なトリップ感が魅力。


内容 (「CDジャーナル・レビュー」より)

バッハのチェロ・ソナタ組曲をサキソフォンで全曲録音した2枚のアルバムは、広がりのあるサウンド(録音場所には徹底的にこだわったという)と、独特の音作りがセンセーショナルなものだった。基本はサキソフォンのソロだが、変化と起伏に富んだアレンジと演奏で、彼ならではのユーモアや少しだけシニカルな色合いがちょうどよいスパイスになっていた。今回はガラリと変わって、映画のための音楽。といっても、映画専門チャンネル『シネフィル・イマジカ』の映画解説のコーナーのためのもの。アクション、サスペンス、文芸大作、ホラーなどなどさまざまな映画をイメージさせるバラエティに富んだ小品がずらりと並んだ。アコースティック楽器のソロからオーケストラまで、はたまたシンセやコンピュータをばんばん使ってみたり、さらにスタイルもクラシックからポップス、ジャズ、テクノなど万華鏡のように変わる。そこに、彼らしい致死量に至らない毒がしのびこませてあるのが憎い。 (堀江昭朗) --- 2001年04月号

スカパー等でおなじみのシネフィル・イマジカから
待ちに待ったサウンドが登場しました。
映画作品紹介のバックで流れているミュージックを
ギュッと集めた珠玉の作品です。
この音楽をバックにお気に入りの映画を探すも良し、
じっと耳をすませて音の物語に聴き入るも良し。
幸福な時間を過ごせる事を保証します。

Cinefil＝シネマ狂にはタマラナイ一枚。
