ヴィヴァルディに代表されるヴェネツィアの協奏曲様式は、1700年前後に興隆をむかえたが、本アルバムはその当時ヴィヴァルディとともに活躍した作曲家たちに目を向けている。アルビノーニやマルチェロはまだしも、マリーニやツィアーニ、タリエッティ兄弟やジェンティリなど今日ではほとんど耳にしない作曲家の作品が新鮮に聴こえる。とりわけツィアーニの対位法的楽曲は“発見”である。演奏もいい。当時の楽器や奏法のこだわるのはもとより、ヴェネツィアの粋な気風が軽やかに漂ってくるようだ。 (斎藤弘美) --- 2001年04月号
