無名作ながらも確かに優れたバイオレンス映画で、私にとって大変、心に残っている映画です。私が、この映画を忘れられない最大の理由は、何と言っても、主演のロバ-トｷﾞﾝティです。優しさを秘めたキレた男を大変、魅力的に演じてました。彼が出ている映画といえば、この映画とこの映画の続編、パニック・イン・スタジアム（チョィ役）位と思います。他に、ロバ-トｷﾞﾝティが出演している映画・ドラマ等あれば、是非観たいです。（御存知の方がいらっしゃいましたら、是非、教えて戴きたいです。）当時、この映画一本だけで、彼が大好きになりました。

裏ジャケには「大鉈で首切断!火炎放射器で丸焼き!恐怖の人間ミンチ!」と記載されていますが実際は火炎放射器で丸焼きなんてシーンは無し(ベッドごと油で焼くシーンはある)。『タクシードライバー』+『狼よ、さらば』的な復讐劇です…がDVDは即廃盤になったので滅多に売っていません。妙にキラキラしたジャケで見つけやすいので頑張って中古屋を探しましょう!主演俳優の下膨れ顔と人間ミンチはもはや伝説!必見!

　ベトナム帰りで現在はNY在住の男が戦友を植物人間にされたことにキレて街のチンピラ連中をベトナム仕込みの戦術で血祭りにあげていく様を描いたバイオレンス映画です。要するに『ランボー』同様｢ベトナム後遺症｣を扱った作品なのですが、常にバイオレンス描写を好むJames Glickenhaus監督は人間をミンチにかけて挽き肉にしたりネズミの餌にしたりするシーンをふんだんに盛り込んでいます。その上、合衆国政府の黒い影などをストーリーに詰め込みサービス満点のGlickenhaus監督は何とNYにある某大学の映画学教授であり本作は｢動く教科書｣として製作された作品だという事実も見る側としては興味深いポイントになっていると思います。
